We supply the retail and wholesale trade in Germany and internationally. We are grateful that we have been able to supply many great customers such as GORILLAS, ALDI, REWE, EDEKA, TRANSGOURMET, METRO, MIGROS and many more. We have brought millions of products onto the market and replaced numerous plastic products with better alternatives. What once began as a student project has quickly developed into one of the fastest growing food tech companies in Germany.
Wisefood is known from numerous television shows - including Galileo, The Lion's Den and the ARD Mittagsmagazin. We have been supported and awarded numerous prizes such as "Germany Land of Ideas", TRANSGOURMET Newcomer Award , Top 50 Cleantech Startups Worldwide and METRO NX FOOD. We were also able to win the EIT Food Award , supported with 60,000 euros in prize money from the EU, thus successfully beating out hundreds of other companies. The German Accelerator - a funding program for German start-ups founded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy - also supported us in our international expansion.
We became known for our edible drinking straws and spoons. We give apple fiber, a byproduct of apple juice production, a second life and thus conserve resources and the environment.
